Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.The role of Mechanical Engineer III is to read, understand, and comply with project specifications, create a specification and code compliant design, create submittal information, and produce fabrication drawings for the manufacture of custom electro-mechanical goods related to overhead material handling. This role will work with internal resources as well as customers to deliver projects 100% on Time, Specification, and Budget. Essential Responsibilities:Lead design efforts by reviewing project specifications and creating models and fabrication-ready drawings.Serve as project engineer for multiple projects concurrently, engaging in all aspects of assigned projects (procurement, schedule, and profitability) and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.Drive project and vendor coordination, create project documents including schedules and budget.Create product submittals, approvals, and operations manuals that meet or exceed client expectations.Travel to job sites as needed for technical support, project oversight, and relationship building.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including the Quality Management System (QMS).Leverage ERP systems (Epicor or similar) to manage materials, schedules, and project data. Skills:Strong mechanical and structural engineering background with a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.Proficiency in CAD modeling and drawing in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Ability to interpret and apply design codes and industry standards including CMAA, ASME, NEC, and AISC.Strong technical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for customers and cross-functional teams.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and related software.Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project; proficiency preferred.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering.Minimum 4 years of engineering (mechanical/structural/electrical) experience (10+ years preferred).Minimum 2 years of project management experience strongly preferred.PMP certification preferred.What we offer:Competitive pay based on skills and experienceEligible to participate in our short term incentive program (STIP)Comprehensive benefits package starting day one (medical, dental, vision).Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance.401(k) with company match after one month of employment.10 paid holidays + generous paid time off annually (pro-rated first year).Additional benefits including tuition reimbursement, employee discounts on products and services, and Work/Life Balance program.Opportunities for professional development and promotion based on skill growth.Work Environment:Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m., on-site at Broomfield manufacturing facilityCompensation: $93,000-115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, and could pay more or less than the posted range.
