About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for Total Rewards to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive compensation philosophy and benefits model. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the total rewards programs align with the institution's goals and values, and in fostering a cohesive and collaborative environment across various schools and units. The AVP will also be tasked with building and leading a strong total rewards team, driving operational efficiency, and continuously improving the total rewards strategy.
Key responsibilities for the Assistant Vice President of Total Rewards include providing strategic leadership, fostering collaboration, and driving operational efficiency. The role demands a deep understanding of total rewards strategy, a commitment to equity and transparency, and the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders. The AVP will be expected to modernize systems, enhance the employee experience, and support the institution's efforts to attract and retain top talent. A successful candidate will bring creativity, expertise, and a collaborative spirit to the evolving landscape of total rewards strategy in higher education, and will be instrumental in the company's mission to support a world-class research environment with a focus on innovation, academic excellence, and community engagement.
