Senior Regional Advocate (Energy Markets)

Position Summary Evergreen is seeking a full-time Senior Regional Advocate to lead our work at the PJM Interconnection, and surrounding Mid-Atlantic states to advance the organization’s climate and clean energy goals. Working closely with the Eastern States and Power Policy teams, the Senior Advocate will lead or co-lead state-based coalitions focused on PJM advocacy, as well as engage with key Governor’s office staff and state legislators. This is a specialized role that includes coordinating closely with external technical experts and representing Evergreen in external-facing venues, including engagement with environmental NGOs, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and PJM. This role is ideal for a mission-driven advocate with experience working in or around state government wholesale markets, policy, or advocacy campaigns.
