This includes selection, development, and evaluation of personnel to ensure a technically competent and highly motivated workforce.Operations Management: Oversee the entire manufacturing process, from receipt of materials to shipping. You will utilize our facilities, equipment, and personnel to achieve the highest level of product production while ensuring safety and quality standards are met at the lowest possible cost.Safety: Develop and maintain high plant standards of safety and work conditions, administer safety programs, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including stormwater tests and Pollution Protection Plans.Communication: Effectively communicate organizational policies and procedures and provide daily direction to various staff functions, including production scheduling, administration, inventory management, order process, and transportation.Technical Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of all manufacturing processes and production equipment.Performance Analysis: Analyze monthly metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with Interstate Commerce Commission and Department of Transportation regulations, as well as customer and government agency specifications.Customer Engagement: Coordinate directly with internal and external customers on orders, routes, specifications, pricing, and shipping to ensure the production of high-quality products in line with profit goals and strategies.Quality Assurance: Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to and documented in compliance with company policies.Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels to support the local market and make necessary adjustments as required.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP Operating Systems.Broad knowledge of business functions, including safety, quality, production operations, accounting, inventory management, cost control/profit and loss management, and shipping.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.Broad technical knowledge of product and production methods.If you are a seasoned leader with a track record of success in manufacturing operations, possess a deep understanding of safety and quality standards, and are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for the Plant Manager position.
