Research Services Manager – Operations | People Manager Role Washington DC or Chicago LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Global Law Firm seeking a Research Services Manager – Operations (People operations). T his role sits at the intersection of research strategy, vendor management, and people leadership . This is a people manager role , responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring staff , while partnering closely with firm leadership and cross‑functional teams. Key responsibilities include: Managing electronic and print research subscriptions , including renewals and vendor negotiations Ensuring contract compliance , licensing adherence, and usage monitoring Partnering with Contracts, Privacy, Security, and Procurement teams on terms and pricing Overseeing invoicing and vendor account management Leading and developing a team , including coaching, evaluations, and hiring recommendations Collaborating with attorneys and business services teams to promote effective use of research resources A bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s or JD preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
