About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Ability to circulate - Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred - No first-time travelers - All skills and certifications required Description: Labor and Delivery RN position available. Candidates must have 2 years of experience. Must be able to circulate in the Labor and Delivery unit. High-risk experience is preferred. Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. This unit cares for a wide range of pregnancy diagnoses, including high-risk cases. Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state. All candidates must provide references covering at least one year of experience in the last three years. Must have experience with specific skills in labor and delivery, including assisting with high-risk deliveries. Expectations include working three out of five main holidays. Candidates must not have any open license issues. Module completion is required pre-start and annually. All staff will be required to follow facility policies during their employment.
