Work Environment

This role takes place in our outpatient office in Lakeland, FL, where you will work collaboratively with a motivated team of healthcare professionals dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying their unique needs and planning appropriate treatment programs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's specific orthopedic conditions, ensuring procedures align with physician directives.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on techniques that promote healing and enhance mobility.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to establish and achieve shared health goals, leveraging evidence-based practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each patient feels valued and understood throughout their therapy experience.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques in both clinical settings and at patients' homes, aiming to produce measurable improvements in their physical function.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and contribute actively to business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse range of patients, including those specializing in orthopedic care, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster strong relationships with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills.
• A genuine desire to connect with patients and support them in exceeding their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings and demonstrate a solid understanding of evidence-based treatment methodologies. A history of successfully building community relationships and enhancing patient engagement will be favored.

Compensation and Benefits
