As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and exceptional customer service while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM, Fri 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, maintaining awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management as required. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
