QA Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a QA Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a great opportunity for a testing-focused professional to strengthen quality across enterprise web applications, combining solid manual testing instincts with hands-on automation skills, in a fully remote role based out of Columbus, OH. Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated testing across enterprise web applications, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium
- Write and troubleshoot automation code and scripts to support reliable, repeatable test frameworks
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including test planning, requirements review, and sprint activities
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to drive resolution
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure testable requirements and strong test coverage
- Continuously refine testing processes and automation coverage to improve efficiency and reliability
- Support release testing and help ensure quality across deployment cycles
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience supporting web-based applications within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium test automation
- Development/scripting experience in Java for building and troubleshooting automated test frameworks
- Solid manual testing background across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams, including defect tracking and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Fully remote flexibility for candidates based in Columbus, OH
- Meaningful ownership over automation strategy, not just script maintenance
- Close collaboration with developers who value early, thorough testing
- Exposure to enterprise-scale web applications with real-world complexity
- A team environment that treats QA as integral to the development process, not an afterthought
