About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Franklin, Ohio, 45005!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 or 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years preferred; travel experience preferred. License: Any active state RN license or compact license accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. Must be able to read and interpret strips. Must be available to work every other holiday. Must have experience starting and maintaining IVs. Description: Winter jobs available! Must work a minimum of every other holiday. Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6. Responsibilities include providing care to patients in an observation unit. The expected length of stay is less than 24 hours. Patient populations include CHF, COPD, chest pain rule outs, GI and urinary issues, cellulitis with IV antibiotics, and stroke rule outs/TIAs. Heavy cardiac population. Must adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols. Nurses are fitted for N95 prior to working in specialized units unless PAPR is needed. Travelers are first to float based on operational needs. Flexibility to float within the facility. The role includes managing cardiac telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias. Familiarity with medical-surgical and advanced care competencies is essential. Daily census expectations are around 10 patients. Work includes interdisciplinary support from various therapy and service areas. Charting system used is Epic. RTO request must be included with application submission. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other units as necessary. References are not required. Local radius rules apply; local travelers are not accepted. Candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be considered. All job requirements must be met for successful application.
