Job Title

RN - Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36/48-hour schedule | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting during day shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Deliver care to pediatric patients as part of the unit's patient population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Pediatrics (PEDS) experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required at time of submission
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA required at time of submission
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through AHA required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital or acute care setting
• Ability to manage a varied patient census including adult and pediatric populations
