Content and Social Media Specialist
Job Summary:
Empire is seeking a creative and strategic Content and Social Media Specialist to drive our brand presence across digital platforms. This role will focus on developing engaging content, managing social media channels, and supporting overall digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of content marketing, social media trends, and audience engagement strategies.
Responsibilities:
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Develop and execute a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
Create, edit, and publish engaging content, including social media posts, graphics, videos, and email campaigns.
Manage and monitor social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement.
Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Stay updated on industry trends, social media algorithms, and best practices to enhance content strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, design) to align content with company goals.
Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and paid social media campaigns.
Ability to set and maintain project goals
Able to lead on small projects
Able to read and understand blueprints
First Aid/CPR/AED Certified
Show up on time
Stay on task while unsupervised
Qualifications:
US work authorization is required
Valid driver's license is required, reliable transportation,
Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting
Willing to work M-F with weekends, 8-12-hour shifts, and overtime when needed
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
1+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing is a plus
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Passion for staying ahead of digital trends and audience engagement strategies
