Fixture Design Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fixture Design Senior Manager to lead the design and development of retail store fixtures supporting new store openings, remodels, and capital improvement projects. This role will oversee a team of managers, engineers, and project leads while collaborating closely with internal business partners and external vendors to deliver high-quality fixture solutions on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, retail fixture design expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects from concept through rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team responsible for the design and development of store fixtures for new stores and existing store projects
• Ensure all fixture designs meet business and technical requirements including cost, durability, structural integrity, functionality, and overall appearance
• Review fixture designs throughout development, testing, and rollout to ensure compliance with standards and quality expectations
• Conduct post-installation store visits to evaluate fixture performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Prepare and present project updates, recommendations, and design findings to senior leadership
• Maintain organized design review processes, prototype approvals, and fixture documentation
• Oversee project plans, timelines, issue tracking, budgets, and deliverables across multiple programs
• Partner with vendors to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and minimize delays
• Serve as primary point of contact and escalation lead for vendors, internal teams, and field partners regarding fixture design projects
• Support prototype costing, vendor selection, RFPs, and Statements of Work in partnership with Strategic Sourcing
• Drive continuous improvement in design quality, operational efficiency, and cost savings

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a retail environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
• Strong experience leading complex design or development projects from concept to implementation
• Expertise in fixture design, testing, optimization, and rollout of customer-facing systems or components
• Proven track record improving operational efficiency, performance, and cost management
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts
• Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
• PMP Certification is a plus
