Maintenance Foreman

About this position Project Manager for maintenance operations within the Lakefront Management Authority. The role involves overseeing maintenance operations of non‑flood protection facilities within a levee district. Job Duties Provide supervision to maintenance contractors, assigning work and addressing issues. Oversee repair, maintenance, and renovation of energy management systems in Terminal and airport facilities. Monitor weekly generator tests and coordinate annual testing. Ensure day‑to‑day maintenance operations maintain functionality and environmental compliance. Observe repair, maintenance, and renovation of energy management systems in LMA facilities. Assign routine maintenance tasks (changing air filters, replacing light bulbs, cleaning HVAC components) to lower‑level maintenance personnel. Qualifications Minimum two years of on‑job experience in one of the following: Four years of experience or training in building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Completion of a two‑year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering plus two years of experience in the specified fields; OR Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering (or equivalent) plus two years of experience in the specified fields.
