Looking for a senior tax role where you can build lasting client relationships and have a real say in how work is delivered?
An established CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its Melville practice. You’ll work with Partners and a varied client base of businesses, owners and high-net-worth individuals, combining technical review with planning, advice and team leadership.
The opportunity
- Take ownership of a portfolio of client relationships
- Review complex federal and state tax returns and workpapers
- Advise clients on planning opportunities and tax issues
- Support clients across sectors including real estate, manufacturing and distribution, retail and construction
- Lead engagements and manage competing deadlines
- Coach and develop tax professionals within the team
What they’re looking for
- 10+ years of public accounting tax experience
- At least two years of tax management experience
- Strong review skills and the confidence to advise clients directly
- Experience with both business and individual tax matters
- Real estate exposure would be valuable
- CCH Axcess or Engagement experience would be helpful
