They offer a web-based SaaS platform that supports thousands of simultaneous users and transactions in a completely secure environment. This platform streamlines and improves the effectiveness of their supplier diversity programs. Their solutions are offered as a robust, hosted system that requires no additional hardware or software, and minimal training and implementation expenses.
Position Summary:
This Senior Developer will be focused on developing, implementing, and supporting new and core features in .NET for their cloud-based software. This will include customization to better suit customer needs as well.
Responsibilities:
- Work within an Agile team-based environment for milestone-based delivery.
- Design software architecture for new applications and enhance existing ones.
- Research and document client needs, technology or regulations related to system design and enhancement, as well as acquire hardware and software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
- Define product scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Conduct daily Scrum meetings. Sprint planning sessions with project managers.
- Review and analyze workflow designs, systems requirements, and business rules to create technical plans for maintenance and development.
- Develop software requirement specification documentation for new enhancements.
- Maintain standards for coding, code repository, data scheming, posting, and testing.
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain code integrity and code organization.
- Assess available technologies and recommend solutions to development teams.
- Conduct regular developer meetings to discuss best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with .NET Framework (can also do only 2+ years along with a Master's degree in relevant field)
- Proficiency in database design concepts and SQL queries
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with any frontend technologies and/or frameworks
- Previous experience leading a team of developers on projects/initiatives
