Medical Director (Boston)

Position Overview

Daniel Driscoll Neponset Health Center, a division of Harbor Health Services Inc. is seeking a Site Medical Director.

The Site Medical Director will provide leadership to the clinical staff and maintain a 24‑hour weekly clinical practice.

Loan repayment opportunities are available. Harbor Health is qualified for State, Federal and Loan Forgiveness Programs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate all primary care providers and specialists.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management, and patient scheduling.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement and compliance efforts.
• Participate in budgeting and strategic planning.
• Exercise administrative oversight and direction for clinical, operational, and educational functions.
• Serve as a partner in embracing innovative change and continuing implementation of a medical home model.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts MD/DO license; Family Physician preferred, board certified, is desired.
• Minimum five years of primary‑care experience; experience in a community health setting preferred.
• Experience in the administration, supervision, and management of clinical staff, including budgeting.
