Position Overview
Daniel Driscoll Neponset Health Center, a division of Harbor Health Services Inc. is seeking a Site Medical Director.
The Site Medical Director will provide leadership to the clinical staff and maintain a 24‑hour weekly clinical practice.
Loan repayment opportunities are available. Harbor Health is qualified for State, Federal and Loan Forgiveness Programs.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate all primary care providers and specialists.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management, and patient scheduling.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement and compliance efforts.
- Participate in budgeting and strategic planning.
- Exercise administrative oversight and direction for clinical, operational, and educational functions.
- Serve as a partner in embracing innovative change and continuing implementation of a medical home model.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts MD/DO license; Family Physician preferred, board certified, is desired.
- Minimum five years of primary‑care experience; experience in a community health setting preferred.
- Experience in the administration, supervision, and management of clinical staff, including budgeting.
