School-Based Physical Therapist - Revere, MA

This full-time, 35-hour-per-week contract position begins in late August for a 12-week leave coverage, with potential for extension. Key Qualifications: Licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) within the state. Prior experience providing physical therapy services in a school environment preferred. Solid understanding of pediatric therapy interventions, IEP documentation, and collaborative goal setting. Effective communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and other related service professionals. Strong organizational skills and initiative to handle a flexible, dynamic caseload. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to support students’ educational success and functional goals. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and regularly document progress and outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help create and implement IEPs in compliance with educational standards. Provide guidance to staff and families on strategies for improving students’ motor skills and day-to-day participation.
