Route Service Manager – UniFirst Location: Durham, North Carolina Job ID: 2603607 Role Overview UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to recruit and lead a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors who deliver to multiple customers per day. The role focuses on driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for the location. Responsibilities Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors. Build strong relationships with customers and elevate the team’s customer satisfaction level. Collaborate closely with the location management team to provide the best customer service and product programs. Negotiate customer contract renewals. Qualifications Business savvy and innovative mindset to increase profit and grow customer satisfaction. Results-driven relationship manager who rolls up sleeves to help the team and customers. Experience managing a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors. Ability to drive personal vehicles for business purposes; must comply with auto insurance requirements. High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior customer service experience. Problem‑solving and handling a variety of customer service situations. Negotiation, training, coaching, and team leadership skills. Strong computer proficiency (MS Office). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum age 21. Valid non‑commercial driver’s license in state of residence. Must meet pre‑employment DOT physical requirements. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
