Administer treatments such as immunizations, joint injections, minor procedures, to enhance patient well-being. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory testing, pulmonary funtion test, ekg, and medical imaging techniques; interpret results accurately. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, and case management for diverse patient needs. Document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) systems Athena while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Proven experience working with children, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems of Athenahealth for efficient medical documentation. Skilled in performing procedures like suturing, skin biopsy, joint injections. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation. Strong understanding of infectious disease control measures and infection prevention strategies. Excellent communication skills for patient education on topics like family planning, nutrition, medication administration, and health coaching. Capable of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, nursing homes or assisted living facilities to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
