As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering packages to customers on both local and out-of-town routes. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service while working primarily as a solo driver or part of a delivery team. You will manage route planning, vehicle inspection, and package handling to ensure timely deliveries during part-time weekend and occasional weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages accurately and on schedule
• Plan and optimize delivery routes
• Inspect vehicles to ensure safe operational condition
• Interact professionally with customers
• Load and unload packages efficiently
• Complete delivery documentation and reports
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines
• Operate delivery equipment and vehicles safely

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in delivery driving
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of route planning and vehicle maintenance
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Familiarity with GPS navigation
• Commitment to safety compliance
• Physical stamina to handle packages
• Clear communication skills
