Senior HR Generalist Location: West Side of Indianapolis, IN Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience Reports To: Director of HR Direct Report: 1 HR Team Member Position Overview Our nonprofit organization is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support HR operations, employee development, and compliance initiatives. This role will oversee one direct report and serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees across the organization. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Manage employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy administration. Coordinate leave administration, workers’ compensation, and HR records management. Develop, facilitate, and track employee onboarding, training, and learning & development programs. Identify training needs and support leadership development initiatives. Assist with recruiting, employee engagement, and retention efforts. Supervise and mentor one HR team member. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 4+ years of progressive HR experience.
