Business Analyst (Multiple Available)

Role : Business Analyst Location : Aberdeen, MD / Remote Education/Certifications : BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or related field Years of Experience : 2+ years’ relevant experience Clearance Level & Investigation : Tier 3 or equivalent (ADP/IT-II) IT Level (AR 25-2): IT-II or NACI IA Cert Level (DoD 8570.01): IAM Level II Computing Environment Certifications: Relevant certification from nationally recognized authority (preferred) Job Description : Provide support in collecting and organizing information required for preparation of artifacts and documents necessary to support sustainment efforts. Under general supervision, responsible for preparing and/or maintaining systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods. Maintain current internal documentation library. Provide or coordinate special documentation services as required. Provide facilitation, training, methodology development and support SDLC process evolution for application sustainment efforts. Identify best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices. Apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct projects. Support activity and data modeling, develop modern business methods, identify best practices, and create and assess performance measurements. Create process changes by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating changes to impacted teams. Recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts. Communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels. Required Minimum Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or closely related discipline. Required Minimum Experience: 2+ years’ experience with similar work. Requires knowledge and expertise with the following: DOW Lifecycle management, DOW 5000.1, 5000.2, DODI 5000.02, and associated policies; specialized experience assembling technical documents and providing detailed analysis of various business system functions; experience with MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, Power Point. Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence preferred Required Clearance: Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with written Inquiries (NACI).
