EEG Technician

Performs setup and preparation of equipment and supplies for ordered tests. Reviews patient's history and obtains necessary information or documentation. Provides education to patients about procedures. Monitors and documents patient's condition at all times. Reports any adverse reactions observed during the procedures. Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data. Recognizes and corrects for artifacts during tests. Scores, graphs, documents, and reports results of diagnostic procedures. Works in a comprehensive epilepsy program with continuous and intermittent monitoring. Covers multiple locations as part of the responsibilities. Handles adult patient volume effectively. Maintains proper credentialing and certifications throughout the job duration.
