Our client in Boise, ID is currently hiring for a Safety Coordinator. This position is a fully onsite opportunity supporting a large-scale electrical construction project. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in construction safety while gaining hands-on field experience alongside project management, field supervision, electricians, and safety leadership.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00/hour (depending on experience, certifications, safety experience, and relevant industry experience)

Location: Boise, ID (Fully Onsite)

Schedule: Standard Monday - Friday schedule with overtime potential based on project needs.

Perform routine jobsite safety walks and inspections alongside project and safety leadership.

Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and communicate concerns to field supervision.

Assist with development and review of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and pre-task plans.

Support electrical construction safety initiatives including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), temporary power, arc-flash awareness, fall protection, ladder safety, scaffold safety, material handling, and PPE compliance.

Assist with new hire and site-specific safety orientations.

Participate in toolbox talks, daily safety meetings, and pre-task planning activities.

Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, training logs, and corrective action tracking.

Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and documentation.

Track employee safety training and certification requirements.

Partner with Safety Managers, superintendents, foremen, and project teams to support project-specific safety plans and client requirements.

Build positive working relationships with field personnel and project stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.

Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development opportunities.

OSHA 10 Construction certification required.

0-2 years of construction, industrial, trades, electrical, or safety-related experience.

First Aid / CPR / AED certification required.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

Experience maintaining documentation, records, inspection reports, or compliance-related paperwork.

Familiarity with JHAs, JSAs, pre-task planning, or jobsite inspections.

Ability to recognize hazards and communicate effectively with field personnel.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

No OSHA 10 certification.

No exposure to construction, industrial, electrical, or field environments.

No experience maintaining safety documentation or compliance records.

Inability to work onsite in a construction environment.

Limited understanding of OSHA regulations or safety practices.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
