Physician, Obstetrics-Gynecology (Jackson, CA)

Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a board‑eligible or board‑certified Obstetrician‑Gynecologist to join our team in Jackson, CA. This primarily OB‑focused role serves an underserved patient population at the 53‑bed rural hospital. The practice averages 20–25 deliveries per month with low acuity and a collaborative team environment. Physicians may grow the gynecologic surgery program, access robotic‑assisted surgery, and participate in graduate medical education, teaching OB/GYN and family‑medicine residents. Schedule and Clinical Expectations Call schedule: weekday call Tuesday‑Thursday — two weeks per month (6 weekdays). Weekend call Friday‑Monday — one weekend per month (4 weekend days). 10 total call days per month, 1:3 call ratio. Physicians also rotate at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento 1–2 days per month to maintain clinical skills. Location Jackson, CA offers a peaceful rural lifestyle within an hour of Sacramento.
