Registered Nurse – Mother/Baby

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 13
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2+ years recent Mother Baby (M/B) experience
• Comfortable with a 1:8 patient ratio
• Previous travel experience
• Willing to obtain NIHSS and NRP within 48 hours of offer
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• COVID vaccine required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Participate in clinical monitoring at the unit level.
• Engage in patient, family, staff, and/or student education programs.
• Develop, document, and implement Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Records.
• Identify unit, staff, and patient care problems; take action or refer problems as necessary.
• May serve as a charge RN and monitor productivity/patient flow if competent.
• If competent, precept new staff.

Compliance / Notes:

• Supervisory references required from the last 6 and 12 months.
• Skills checklist must be specific to Mother/Baby discipline.
