Warehousing & Distribution PositionJob Duties:Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements.Attendance is an essential function.Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential and non-essential tasks related to the job. Successful Partners must follow and maintain PCP's, Critical Control Points and Safety Procedures. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely. The material handler position is not line specific. All operator bid holders must be cross-functional.Must have excellent communication skills.Gain and maintain an understanding of warehouse computer systems.Willing to perform duties assigned and manage multiple priorities.Must have excellent housekeeping and organizationMust be certified/ or be able to be certified to drive a forklift at Schreiber FoodsPhysical Demands:StandWalkSitForklift Use (Frequent mounting/dismounting lift)Lift/Carry up to 50 poundsRepetitive case stacking to build loadsRate of Pay:$21.77 per hour ($20.88 plus $1.50 per hour certification pay)Additional $0.50 per hour for working second shift hours.Additional $1.00 per hour for working third shift hours.Shift/Schedule:1st Shift (6 am to 2 pm)2nd Shift (2 pm to 10 pm)3rd Shift (10 pm to 6 am)Overtime is expected and weekend work is common. Overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturdays and double time paid on Sundays.
