Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for a 13-week contract assignment. This position requires knowledge and experience in caring for critically ill pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, teamwork, and be able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a fast-paced PICU setting.
• Monitor and manage patients experiencing complex medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Implement and participate in care plans and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and updates.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• PALS and BLS certifications.
• Previous PICU experience, including familiarity with vents and drips.
