Amazing Shift Leaders who set the tone, lead by example and make every guest feel like they belong. In this role, you'll:
- Make every guest feel welcome with responsive, friendly and genuine service
- Lead by example and bring Urbane Cafe's values to life every shift
- Keep operations running smoothly — right person, right place, right time
- Motivate your team to show up and perform at their best
- Manage breaks so every team member gets what they're owed, on time
- Delegate tasks fairly while still pulling your own weight
- Treat every team member with dignity, consistency and respect
- Follow up on delegated tasks and hold the standard

What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Great communication and people skills
- Basic math skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs

Our Story
Urbane Cafe is a family-owned company founded by Tom Holt, with locations across Southern California and Nevada — and more on the way. Every day, we make our focaccia dough from scratch and bake it fresh in open-hearth ovens, right in front of our guests. We craft gourmet sandwiches, farm fresh salads and unique bowls using refined local ingredients — all served with a smile in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.

Requirements:- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the house operations leadership
- Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
