Our compassion, integrity, accountability, and resilience define us as leaders in pediatric specialty care for our children and their families.With 20+ hospitals, outpatient clinics, ambulatory care centers and outreach locations across the globe, we provide excellent care to children up to age 18 regardless of their family's ability to pay or insurance status.The Anesthesia technician is responsible for the orderly and efficient set-up, trouble shooting, and maintenance of all anesthesia machines, monitors, carts, general equipment (e.g. laryngoscopes), specialized equipment (fiberoptic bronchoscopes and video system) malignant hyperthermia cart and difficult intubation cart. The anesthesia technician is responsible for placing the anesthesia machines in operational status, transports patients as necessary; assists Anesthesiologist in duties outside OR and maintains neat, clean, orderly and systematic anesthesia work room.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the OR anesthesia carts and machines.Assist with room turnover.Maintain, stock and clean anesthesia OR cabinets and workroom.Stock medication drawer, check for outdated drugs.Stock equipment drawers.Dispose/replace trash bags on carts.Order supplies.Take specimens to lab.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimally one-year related work experiencePreferred Qualifications:Certification highly preferred/desiredCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
