Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students with diverse communication needs. This position spans from September 1, 2026, to October 13, 2026, with a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours each week. You’ll primarily deliver direct and indirect IEP services for a caseload of 24 students—each utilizing some form of AAC—without the responsibility for new evaluations. Collaboration is encouraged, as a fellow SLP works onsite to share insights and support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related discipline
- Minnesota PELSB license with CCC-SLP credential
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
Your daily impact will include:
- Planning and providing individualized speech-language therapy (direct and indirect services)
- Developing and implementing IEP goals in alignment with student needs
- Collaborating with another SLP and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ communication outcomes
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records adhering to school and state requirements
- Engaging with students, staff, and families to optimize the use of AAC devices in educational settings
