Cashiers play a key role in providing excellent customer service by efficiently handling cash and card transactions. Working within a small team environment, cashiers support store operations during day and evening shifts. Beyond processing transactions, they help maintain a clean and organized store and assist customers as needed. This entry-level position offers valuable experience in retail and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately at the POS
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the checkout area
- Restock inventory as needed to support sales floor
- Assist customers with inquiries and product information
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in retail or cashiering
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
