As a Sr. Mgr, Technical Program Mgmt, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing projects to support the release of new products and features to realize our product roadmaps. The role is highly cross-functional, comprised of managing matrixed teams of engineering, software, services, supply chain, and manufacturing to achieve program objectives. This is a manager role with visibility and exposure to multiple functions within Lam and Lam’s overall business in general. What you’ll doResponsible for leading projects and supporting engineers to develop, improve and sustain the Lam’s Panel product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross functional teams, creating project plans, conducting project/program reviews, tracking progress, communicating status, escalating and closing gaps, monitoring/controlling budget, and supporting a variety of engineering tasks to achieve several successful product and feature launches within the context of Lam’s Product Development and Release process.Proven ability in leading, running, overseeing and directing semiconductor equipment programs and projects of varying size from inception to successful completion.Planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables.Creating strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation.Resource allocation and schedule alignment.Identifying & solving project issues effectively and expeditiouslyWho we’re looking forBS or BA in Technical or Business field of study, Technical Field of Study Preferred with 5+ years industry experience, preferably in Hardware and/or Software Engineering. 3+ years managing projects across multiple stakeholdersExperience working with/on cross-functional teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Project a plusKnowledge of managing projects within product lifecycle processes.Preferred qualificationsExperience with semiconductor capital equipment, with a strong operational background.Direct experience managing projects through the key phases of PDR process from development through release to manufacturingExpertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus.Strong operational background with expertise in production, systems and process development.Our commitmentWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.SalaryCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $146,000.00 - $311,000.00.The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
