Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Cheboygan, Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM, including weekend rotation and holiday shifts.

Job Description: The Emergency Services department provides immediate care for a variety of medical situations, ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. We are committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure best practices are adhered to.
• Implement and monitor patient treatment plans, medications, and procedures.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience is required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license required; verification through LARA and Nursys.
• Certifications must include ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS (AHA).
