Fellow Software Engineer - Agentic AI Architecture

Salary: $233,300 - 385,000 per year Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and AI, including at least 5 years in generative AI, NLP, or closely related areas.
• Demonstrated success designing and operating large-scale AI/ML systems in production.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, including customer-facing partners.
• Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python and Java.
• Strong expertise with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, plus MLOps for model training and deployment at scale.
• Deep knowledge of generative AI approaches, including transformer models, diffusion models, GANs, large language models, and multimodal architectures.
• Familiarity with machine learning and NLP methods such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering.
• Experience partnering with sales teams and customers to shape AI roadmaps.
• Recognized thought leadership in AI, supported by publications in leading conferences or journals such as NeurIPS, ICML, or CVPR.
• Executive presence with excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Strong problem-solving capability and a track record of delivering long-term AI strategy initiatives.
• Preferred: experience in high-compliance environments or with privacy-preserving AI techniques.
• Preferred: strong familiarity with responsible AI trends, interpretability, and ethical AI practices.
• Preferred: experience optimizing AI models for cost efficiency through compression, distillation, and efficient deployment.
• Preferred: experience with cloud-native design, containerization such as Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.

• Define and lead our enterprise-wide Agentic AI strategy across our product suite and AI platform.
• Turn emerging AI capabilities into a practical roadmap aligned with business goals, customer value, and platform evolution.
• Partner directly with strategic customers, sales teams, and solution consultants to shape AI value propositions and identify high-impact use cases.
• Support executive-level customer conversations, AI strategy discussions, and strategic deal cycles.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Legal teams to align architecture, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Drive consensus across functions to ensure AI agents are secure, compliant, and production-ready.
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership for multi-agent systems, orchestration, LLM-based agents, RAG, autonomous workflow execution, decision intelligence, safety, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Establish standards for scalability, observability, cost optimization, and performance in cloud-native deployments.
• Evaluate emerging models, frameworks, and research to keep our Agentic AI capabilities at the forefront.
• Lead experimentation and incubation of next-generation AI solutions, bridging research and production systems.
• Collaborate with GTM and Product leadership to ensure AI investments become differentiated offerings.
• Influence pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for AI products.
• Define and promote governance frameworks for autonomous AI, including transparency, explainability, human-in-the-loop controls, privacy-preserving design, risk management, and compliance.
• Ensure our AI systems reflect our commitment to trust, fairness, and ethical innovation.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects to raise AI maturity across the organization.
• Foster a culture of pragmatic innovation that balances bold experimentation with disciplined execution.
• Represent us as a thought leader through publications, keynote speaking, customer roundtables, and industry collaboration.
