Registered/Certified Respiratory Therapist-Full-Time

Job Overview Rivers Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to provide the essential functions described below. Responsibilities Perform all respiratory therapy modalities. Perform all clerical activities necessary to ascertain appropriate records are maintained. Perform all diagnostic tests required, demonstrate knowledge of all equipment and ability to relate any suspected changes to physicians. Confer with other PVH personnel and physicians concerning patient treatment regimens and recommend changes as appropriate. Maintain a professional attitude while dealing with clients, visitors, family members and other personnel. Attend inservices as directed by department coordinator/supervisor or by hospital policies and procedures. Assist with Holter monitoring application, perform and screen EKGs and process them in the data management system. Assist with Performance Improvement program. Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills. Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration. Participate in quality improvement activities including serving on quality improvement teams.
