Container Unloader/Loader

Job Description
• Handling and Staging: Carefully remove, sort, and stage windows.
• Coordinate seamlessly with a partner or team to lift and transport oversized windows that are too heavy or fragile for a single person.
• Inspect windows and frames for chips, scratches, or transit damage before moving them to the staging area.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Ability to push and pull weights often exceeding 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Work from a platform at a height of 30 feet above ground.
• Effective communication and interaction with multi-functional and diverse teams.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, and related documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly.

Job Requirements
• The role requires repetitive bending, kneeling, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Work is performed inside unventilated, non-temperature-controlled containers. These spaces can become dark, cramped, and extremely hot, particularly during the summer months.
• Mandatory personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots, heavy-duty cut-resistant gloves, and back support belts.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $19.00 Hourly


Pay range $16.90-$85.00
