Job Description
Certified Sterile Processing Technician Job Description We are currently seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment in accordance with established infection control practices and guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination and sterilization of medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper processing in compliance with infection control standards.
- Follow established protocols for equipment maintenance and safety.
- Work collaboratively with health care teams to ensure a sterile environment.
- Assist in training and onboarding of new staff, as needed.
- A minimum of 2 years of current experience as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
- Active certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (NCCT certification is not accepted).
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Must have reliable transportation for commuting to the assigned location.
- Thanksgiving weekend
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve through New Year's Day
