About the role Casa el Buen Samaritano is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Physician to serve as a primary care provider in our faith-based clinic. You'll deliver high-quality medical care to uninsured and underserved patients, working alongside volunteer providers, clinical staff, and our spiritual care team as part of Casa's integrated model of care. What you'll do Provide direct patient care — assessments, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and patient education Manage chronic disease, acute illness, preventive care, and referrals within clinic scope Document patient encounters accurately in Athena EMR Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs), ensuring quality of care and protocol adherence Collaborate with volunteer providers, nurses, and medical assistants; mentor medical students or residents when applicable Participate in provider meetings, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives Contribute to clinical protocols, compliance, and quality assurance efforts Build relationships with community and referral partners; represent Casa at outside functions as needed What we're looking for Licensed MD or DO in Texas (or eligible for Texas licensure) Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty Strong alignment with Casa's Christian mission and a heart for faith-based, team-oriented service Comfortable mentoring less experienced clinicians and working alongside volunteers CPR & AED certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Experience in underserved or free clinic settings a plus Schedule Flexible, part-time hybrid schedule; some evening or weekend availability may be required depending on clinic hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr Casa El Buen Samaritano
