RESTAURANT SHIFT LEADER – CLOSED SUNDAYS | NO LATE NIGHTS | $15–$19/HOUR

Chicken Salad Chick in East TN is growing, and we’re looking for driven, dependable, positive Shift Leaders to grow with us!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with restaurant experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership, or an experienced Shift Leader looking for a healthier work environment and room to grow.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Shift Leader, you’ll serve as the Manager on Duty and help create a positive experience for both our guests and team members. You’ll lead by example, keep the shift organized, and support the restaurant’s daily operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and motivate team members throughout the shift

• Assign positions and help the team stay organized

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to every guest

• Coach and train team members in a positive, respectful way

• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards

• Follow food-safety and company procedures

• Assist with opening or closing responsibilities

• Help resolve guest or team concerns when needed

• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving restaurant goals

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Dependable and punctual

• Positive, encouraging leadership style

• Strong communication and guest-service skills

• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy shifts

• Willingness to learn every restaurant position

• Reliable transportation

• Restaurant or leadership experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift

• Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds

• Availability to work approximately 30-40 hours per week
