PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for our Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence at Memorial Hospital Belleville (Belleville, IL). New grads, upcoming grads and experienced Sonographers welcome to apply! Position Details PRN Schedule (work as needed) - Day Shift (8am-4:30pm) No Call Requirements RDCS Registry (required) Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Echocardiographer, Echocardiography Technologist, Cardiac Sonographer, Echo Tech. Role Purpose The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. Responsibilities Performs tests and procedures at various locations. Maintains accurate patient logs. Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer. Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
