Programmatic Trader Join MiQ’s trading team as a Programmatic Trader, working across our fast‑growing U.S. regions to partner with sales, account management, product, and analytics on high‑impact campaigns for leading brands. Responsibilities Accomplish tasks on time and to a high quality while managing different deadlines and priorities. Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure they are performing and pacing optimally. Set up campaigns to succeed from day one; use critical thinking and analytical skills to analyze complex data sets and make decisions that beat client goals. Troubleshoot campaign challenges and implement optimizations within DSPs. Work across multiple technology platforms, including DSPs, internal BI, ad servers, attribution, and brand‑safety systems. Provide client reporting and optimization commentary, including incremental forecasting. Project‑manage initiatives: stay focused, organize stakeholders and milestones, and contribute to cross‑functional projects. Offer avails, pricing, and strategy recommendations for new campaigns. Partner with trading‑team members to enhance internal tools, processes, and test new trading products. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, building relationships and working across differences to find solutions. Build strong relationships with the sales and account‑management teams on commercial pods and other commercial teams to deliver custom client solutions. Communicate clearly with external partners, clients, and internal stakeholders; explain strategy and optimizations, influence positive outcomes, and articulate how MiQ’s technology sets us apart. Participate in client meetings around performance and strategy; work directly from client offices periodically (2‑3 days per week). Act with curiosity, find new and better ways of working, and implement solutions to unarticulated needs and market requirements. Utilize MiQ’s proprietary technology to create bespoke campaign setups and custom algorithms. Qualifications Hard skills: Analytical skills and experience with large datasets in Excel and BI tools. Experience with Xandr, DV360, or TTD DSPs (preferred). 2+ years of experience running programmatic campaigns. Experience with holding companies or agency trading desks (preferred). Soft skills: Startup mindset; attention to detail. Accomplished communicator; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Great time‑management and organizational skills. Motivated entrepreneurial mindset with determination to “figure it out.” Problem‑solver excited by challenging problems; energetic and relationship‑oriented.
