Portfolio Manager & PI Planning Coordinator

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Portfolio Manager & PI Planning Coordinator to support business operations through a combination of ad hoc portfolio management activities and large-scale planning event coordination. This role operates in a fast-paced ambiguous environment and requires strong communication analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can synthesize information from multiple sources manage competing priorities and translate data into clear actionable insights for stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Portfolio & PMO Execution: Lead ad hoc portfolio management efforts by pulling/analyzing data coordinating with cross-functional teams and synthesizing insights into clear Excel models and executive-ready PowerPoint materials; operate effectively in ambiguity translate notes into action and manage delivery under tight deadlines with strong PMO tracking rigor.
PI Planning & Event Coordination: Support organization-wide PI planning cycles every 12 weeks including coordinating large-scale in-person events (up to 350 attendees) managing logistics supplies and travel (with preference for Dallas/Plano presence) and ensuring seamless execution end-to-end.
Agile Program Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Apply Agile expertise and advanced project management skills within the SDLC; utilize tools such as Jira iTrack and Azure DevOps; partner effectively with both technical (developers architects) and business stakeholders; and contribute from hands-on experience within software delivery (e.g. development testing release or production support).
Communication Organization & Efficiency: Deliver high-impact visually driven PowerPoint presentations aligned to company standards; demonstrate strong written communication and organizational skills (managing high volumes of information with tools like OneNote); and leverage AI to drive efficiency with the ability to showcase practical applications and results.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong organizational and project coordination skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
Ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear concise outputs
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal direction
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting PMO portfolio management or business operations functions
Experience coordinating large-scale meetings or events
Familiarity with enterprise tools (e.g. project tracking systems reporting tools)
Exposure to AI-enabled tools or interest in process automation is a plus

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89600.00 - $123800.00.
