Forklift Operator

Job Details Title: Forklift Operator Location: Dallas, TX 75261 Schedule: Day shift, 4:00pm–12:45am Pay: $15.50 per hour (Paid Weekly) Employment Type: Full Time Category: Skilled Labor – Trades Education Level: None required Duties and Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Drive, maneuver, navigate and operate various types of forklifts and mechanized equipment. Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or defects. Communicate with supervisors, peers and subordinates via telephone, written form, e‑mail or in person. Handle, install, position, and move materials using hands and arms. Finalize receipt of goods, report on closing day and provide documentation for processing. Verify all reports for accuracy of location, quantity and product received. Perform a daily safety and equipment checklist. Identify and report safety hazards. Repack damaged product into new boxes and palletize. Clean warehouse areas as assigned. Deposit trash from assigned area in dumpster. Complete other assignments as requested. Qualifications Minimum one year of forklift operating experience. Ability to lift and maneuver cases over 50lbs continuously. Basic math proficiency. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Age 18 years or older. Successful completion of pre‑employment drug testing and background check. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to work in different climates (cooler, freezer, dry). Must be able to lift and move heavy objects regularly. Safety Requirements Steel‑toed shoes required for protection. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
