This position is responsible for the management of the MSRDP Finance Department. Responsibilities include overseeing monthly financial performance reporting for the medical service plan and the clinical departments, and providing financial decision support for both the senior University management and clinical departments' staff and management.BENEFITS

Required: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Information Services or equivalent. Required: Experience: 6 years experience working with relevant operating systems and hardware and 4 years cumulative experience performing financial analysis, personnel management, training and/or consulting services. Preferred: Education: Master's Degree.JOB DUTIES
Provides financial decision support for senior university management, clinical departments, and billing operations. Prepares and communicates billing collection projections for clinical departments. Identifies areas of financial risk and alerts departments of unfavorable trends. Develops and/or modifies existing reporting tools in order to find the root cause and addresses them. Organizes financial data used for forecasting and modeling. Works with clinical departments to provide collections forecasts and assists departments with their budget as appropriate. Publishes standard financial reports and interactive data sets to a shared drive for use by clinical departments and other key members of the organization. Designs automated reports allowing users to drill down to area(s) of interest and compare budget line items, billing operations work flows, etc. Provides strategic consultation and guidance to clinical staff and management to address financial issues and optimize financial impact on respective business initiatives. Provides direct supervision for staff, including performance appraisals, training, scheduling and handling various personnel issues as needed. Completes complex projects as requested.
