Job Summary
Infusion Nurse, located at a healthcare facility specializing in acute care, is responsible for providing infusion therapy including chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood, and iron. The role involves administering various injections and ensuring patient safety and comfort within a fast-paced environment that sees approximately 50 patients daily.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN's are required to pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with an open book exam on skills learned. Candidates must receive a 90% score to pass; otherwise, employment will be terminated. Candidates must possess a valid drivers license, which will be used to verify radius restrictions.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (AHA). Education/Education Requirements: RN license. Location Requirements: Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any site associated with the organization. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in infusion therapy, preferably with chemo certification.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, mostly 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling at least 40 hours per week. Shift start and end times may vary.
• Additional Information: The department operates from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and the nurse will handle infusion of chemo, antibiotics, blood, iron, fluids, and various injections. Charting is done using EPIC. No call required. The assignment starts on 10/26/2026 and ends on 01/25/2027. Travel restrictions include a 50-mile radius and drivers license verification.
