About the Role

  • Perform evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment regimens.

  • Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility protocol and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient-focused care.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred current CPR certification.
  • Specializations in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory.

Skills

  • Prior experience is highly preferred.
