Other details: Thefacility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 6 patients per shift and 14 beds in the department. We are seeking a full-time Addiction Medicine provider to start as soon as possible for ongoing coverage through October, with the possibility of extension pending permanent recruitment. The provider must have completed an Addiction Medicine fellowship. This position focuses on medical detoxification for substances such as opiates and alcohol and is not specifically a psychiatry role. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with approximately two nights of overnight beeper call per week. The provider should be experienced with Librium, Suboxone, Methadone, Sublocade, and Subutex. Overtime applies after 40 clinical hours per week.
