Full Job Description

Up to 30+ hours per week, must work weekends. This highly self-motivated, professional individual will be responsible in performing various duties as a front desk agent in the hotel lobby and dealing with all guest interactions.

Essential Functions:

• Meet and greet individuals entering the lobby.
• Handle incoming calls for reservations and guest questions.
• Complete guest check-in software, paperwork and explain hotel policies.
• Must be able to enforce hotel policies and handle guest confrontation in a calm manner.
• Order office and hotel housekeeping supplies.
• Assign and track all parking passes.
• Prepare maintenance work orders.
• Maintain guest information within Excel spreadsheets.
• Reconcile credit card charges.
• High level of skill in internet search for products and price evaluation.
• Understand hotel services, and other information about the hotel.
• Assist with all day-to-day operations of the hotel.
• Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Must be a reliable employee.
• Capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks.
• Handle guest disputes in a professional manner.
• High level of skill in working with various computer software including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and hotel guests.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality with company and personnel information.
• Integrity and honesty are essential due to responsibility for handling company funds.
• Must have a valid ID and reliable personal transportation.
